Summer Music Fest – Portage

     Enjoy a Sunday of fabulous FREE live musical entertainment– right here in Portage, Indiana, at the first big music fest of summer 2019, outdoors at Founders Square Park!   
     Part of the 2019 Portage Summer Music Series, Founders Square three-band concert fests will be held the first Sunday of June, July, August and September! Founders Square Park is located on the north side of the new Portage Fire Station #3 at 6300 Central Avenue, in Portage, Indiana.

    SUNDAY, JUNE 1ST: Dixie Crush at 3:30, Dec8d at 5:30 And Mellencougar at 8:30. Mellencougar is a Northwest Indiana favorite, is a top-notch band playing tribute to the Indiana Native John Cougar Mellencamp.

     Concert-goers may wish to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Bring a picnic basket or, also available at the music fest. Food and refreshments may be purchased at food trucks, and a Wine/Beer tent by Clancy’s will also be on the premises.  For shade– or If rain threatens, bring an umbrella: concerts will be held in all but violent weather.

     Donations of non-perishable food, personal items, and paper products for the Portage Food Pantry and Gabriel’s Horn Women’s Homeless Shelter are welcomed for collection at every concert, but are not required.
