Founders Square – Portage Indiana

     Founders Square is a new public space located in the heart of the downtown Portage that consists of parkland, a splash pad, and an amphitheater (Indiana American Water Amphitheatre).

     Hannah’s Playground at Founders Square was recently constructed and all future Portage events will occur at Founders, including Movies in the Park, Car shows, Portage Farmers market,  Parades and Festivals.
     Portage splash pad is open every day from 8am-10pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day.

     The new Performance Venue and Event Area at Founders Square is a 3-acre development that includes a new performance pavilion, an outdoor gathering space, and passive recreation areas. The Pavilion includes a raised platform area that can serve a variety of performers and venues, including music, dance and film. The project complements and creates an extension of the adjacent park at Founders Square located to the immediate north and includes restroom facilities, playground area and picnic areas.

    Ample parking for all of the larger festivities is available in the field near Portage Mall just off Central and Vivian.
