Four region dudes and a chick all started home brewing together on their block in Schererville, Indiana – Wildrose Lane. After winning several awards, and various comments from tasters, they realized that their home brewed Craft Beer was as good if not better than many crafter beers on the market. After much planning the five founding fathers decided to share their great beer with the public and Wildrose Brewing Company was born.
Although they are all from Schererville Indiana, they found a 6,000 square foot warehouse that fit their needs in Griffith Indiana at 1104 E. Main Street. They brew on a seven barrel system in their 4,000 square foot brewery. They also have a 2,000 square foot brewpub in addition to a spacious outdoor patio.
The brewpub has an industrial theme which fits in with the American-style craft beer they brew. They have a barbecue-focus food menu that is prepared by T & S Catering. 
Wildrose beer offerings are IPAs, APAs, Double IPA, a coffee stout made with Sumatran coffee roasted by nearby Bridgeport Coffee Company, and a milk stout brewing with coconut. The beer menu changes frequently and the current offerings can be found on their website and Facebook page.
All the founding fathers are very involved in the business which include, David DeJong, Karen DeJong, Ed Halajcsik, Kevin Krippel and Tony Nicola. In addition to their own craft beers, Red and white Wine will be offered for non-beer drinkers. They also have an occasional guest beer on tap.
