     The Washington Park Zoo is a great place for kids and fathers to spend time together on Father’s Day.  All father’s and grandfather’s get free admission with a paid child admission.

     Spend a special day making memories that will last a lifetime. The Washington Park Zoo will offer free admission for all father’s and grandfather’s with a paid child admission.

      The Washington Park Zoo has more than 100 species and over 250 animals in a unique zoo set near the southern shore of beautiful Lake Michigan. The zoo was modernized so that all of the animals can all be exhibited in natural settings surrounded by botanical plant life.
     Zookeepers and volunteers are always on hand to provide public education about the animals and the zoo’s efforts at conservation and preservation.

     The zoo has many unique WPA walkways and buildings, including the rotary castle and the 70 foot tall observation tower.
