covid rapid testing east chicago lake county indiana highland

15 Minute Covid Test Results Now Available

The 219 Health Network has two Rapid test locations to serve Northwest Indiana residents which gets results in just 15 minutes. They are: 100 W. Chicago Ave., Suite F in East Chicago and 8141 Kennedy Ave. in Highland. Hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm daily. The rapid test is free, but appointments are required. Call 833-219-0001.
The 219 Health Network, Inc., provides rapid COVID-19 testing for those experiencing symptoms of the virus. Residents with symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, sudden loss of taste and or smell, chills, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, sore throat, a runny nose or headache may want to get tested to get proper healthcare and peace of mind.

Indiana Department of Health officials are encouraging all Hoosiers with symptoms to get tested. Those at high risk because they are 65 years of age and older and have chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or obesity should be tested if they think they may have been exposed-even if they don’t have symptoms, according to state health officials.

The nasal swab rapid test is free with results in as little as 15 minutes. Patients will be asked to follow-up with a 219 Health Network provider if the test result is positive.

219 Health Network has been providing easy access to quality medical care for those Northwest Indiana residents without insurance or with limited insurance since May, 2018.

For more information about the programs and services of the 219 Health Network, visit https://219health.org/ or call 219-703-2582.
