Gary – Friday, July 3rd and Sat. July 4th, 2021 – Family Night at the Railcats Stadium, Both nights will feature food, fireworks and live music by NAWTY (July 3) and The Muddsharks (July 4). MICHIGAN CITY KIDDIE PARADE: June 20th, 2021 Registration is that day at Noon at 4th and Washington Street. Always the Last Saturday in June. SCHERERVILLE, JULY 4TH FIREWORKS SHOW: July 2nd, 2021, A fireworks show will be held at Rohrman Park to celebrate the 4th of July Every year the Schererville Parks and Recreation department hosts a fireworks show at Rohrman Park a few days prior to the 4th of July. The show starts at dusk. Those wishing to attend should try to come early. Bring chairs, blankets, and snacks. St. John’s Annual Kid’s parade is Saturday before the Festival July 3rd (TBD) 2021 at 9:30 am, at Prairie West Park, located at 93rd and West Oakridge in St. John, You can decorate your own bike, float, wagon wheelchair, scooter, walker and roller blades. SOUTH HAVEN JULY 4TH PARADE: TBD – Not Yet Determined for 2021, The parade will take place on July 4th at Noon. Entrants will line-up at Saylor Elementary School (331 Midway Dr., Valparaiso IN 46385) at 11am. The parade route will begin at Saylor Elementary School and head west on Midway Drive to McCool Road, north on McCool Road to 750 N. and west on 750 N. to the American Legion Post (479 W. 750 N, Valparaiso, IN 46385). The review stand will be located at South Haven Elementary School (395 Midway Dr., Valparaiso, IN 46385). Refreshments will be served and awards will be presented in the Legion Hall immediately following the parade.
