The day will begin with the 4th of July Blast 5K Run/Walk at 7:30 am and Lit’l Firecracker 2K Run/Walk at 9:10am (with a staggered start)
July Blast 5-K Run/Walk ($30) Begins Downtown at Central Plaza.
Overall & Age Group Awards – Top Overall Male & Top Overall Female, Top Masters Male & Top Masters Female, Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups: 14 & under,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up.
Firecracker 2K Fun Run/Walk ($15)
Perfect for families and younger participants! The FUN run/walk will start and finish at the Starting Line of the 5K and will begin at 9:10AM. This is and non-competitive event that will not be timed. Finisher medals will be given to all participants! The course will close at 10AM. Begins Downtown at Central Plaza.
EVENING CELEBRATION:
Join the City of Valparaiso for one of the best entertainment and firework shows in the area. Event kicks off at 6:30 pm with live music and patriotic events, along with a great fireworks show at 9:15 pm at Urschel Field.
