Valpo Tree Lighting & Winter Fest

Join Valparaiso Parks and Recreation as they kick off the holiday season with their annual Winter Fest! Visitors will enjoy caroling, figure skating performances by Midwest Training & Ice Center entertainment, photos with Santa, hot chocolate, and the lighting of the Central Park Plaza Christmas tree, held on Saturday, November 27th, 2021.

The lights on the Holiday Tree will be officially turned on for the season with a crowd countdown at 5:45p.m. The 30-ft. tall tree decorated with 19,000 lights is made possible by 1st Source Bank, The Flower Cart and The Allure Wedding Venue and Event Center.  Photos with Santa and figure skating exhibition will add to the festivities.

The ice rink will be open to the public with a combined $7 admission and skate rental rate from 11am – 4:45 pm & 7pm – 10pm. The special rate is available to anyone who presents a receipt dated November 30, 2019 from a downtown Valparaiso business.
