Valparaiso, Indiana will come to life with the sights and sounds of the holiday season on the first Friday in December every year from 5-8 p.m for Holly Days! Stroll through the decorated streets of the downtown neighborhood and kick off your holiday shopping with our fine retailers. Visit your favorite stores to enjoy their annual holiday open house, and dine at one of the restaurants, many of which will have special treats just for you.
Live Christmas Music will be performed at various locations.
All of your favorite holiday activities will come together to turn our little town into a true, winter wonderland. At Central Park you will find Train rides, ice carving, strolling carolers, & fire performers are just some of the free entertainment available to help spread the happiness and cheer of the season.
Also Enjoy a live nativity display around the Courthouse Square from 5:30-7:30 p.m. right across the street from the old “Seasons on the Square.” Visit Santa Claus at the Porter County Museum Visit Santa Claus at the Museum. Come early and be prepared for long lines at each venue. (especially for Santa Claus)
