Portage LIVE, Portage Chamber of Commerce and City of Portage Parks & Recreation Dept., announce the PORTAGE SUMMER MUSIC SERIES to be presented RAIN OR SHINE throughout JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST IN 2025 with a total of 14 CONCERTS performed INDOORS at Portage’s WOODLAND PARK Oakwood Hall. All concerts are FREE to the public.
Concerts at Woodland Park are made possible by grants from Porter County Community Foundation, and from donations by local residents and Portage Chamber business members.
Your donations of nonperishable food, personal items or paper products for the Portage Food Pantry and Gabriel’s Horn Homeless Shelter will be welcomed at the concerts but are not required. The Summer Music Series committee consists of Co-Chairmen Jose Moreno and Terry Hardin, Linda Hardin, Nancy Simpson, Amy Armstrong, Benjamin Leonard-White and Paul Panicali.
The concerts will also serve as a donation site for Portage Food Pantry and Gabriel’s Horn Shelter. Feel free to donate canned goods, nonperishable packaged items, paper goods, toothpaste, toothbrushes, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, hygiene items, etc. or a cash donation (donations are not required for attendance).

Arts in the Park Announces Summer Concert Series
Arts In the Park, La Porte, has announced their 2025 Concert Line up held every Thursday From June 4th, 2026 thru August 27th, 2028. Preconcert show begins at 6:00 pm with the Featured Performer taking the stage at 7 pm. Pre-concert also include poetry or literature performances.
