Deep River Ice Skating is a 14,500 square foot ice plaza with food and beverage locations, heated indoor bathrooms, a Birthday Party room, and a U.S. 30 Surf Shop. Group Sales and Season Pass offices are available. Plus, the Plaza will be decorated with festive seasonal lighting. Closed Mon – Wed.
Skate rentals are available for $6 a pair with discounts for pass holders and groups.

Ice Skate sharpening is available at certain times, depending on staff. Please call ahead to find out availability 219-947-7850. The cost is $5.00 per pair. New – Skate Helpers. They have 12 Skate Helpers that are available for rent, for $5. Skate Rentals: Rental Skates are available from sizes 9J to 14.
Food, beverage and coolers are not allowed in the park. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on Park Department property. Hockey games and hockey sticks are not permitted.

Deep River County Park encompasses more than 1,200 acres on both the south and north sides of U.S. Highway 30 about 4.5 miles east of Interstate 65 in Merrillville. Deep River Waterpark is located on the south area of the park site..
