Since 1994, the Scarecrow Festival has been celebrating creativity, family fun, and hometown pride. What began as a small gathering has grown into a vibrant Fall Festival that draws thousands of visitors each year AT 245 N. Main, Wanatah, Indiana.
Each year, this weekend is filled with festive
Activities, Including:
Handmade scarecrow displays;
Local food vendors and crafts;
Live music and entertainment;
Family games and kids’ activities; and
Community contests and prizes
The Annual Wanatah Scarecrow Festival is a fall tradition filled with fun for all ages! With over 200 vendor booths, a lively parade, and a variety of family-friendly activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

kids’ crafts,
scarecrow sculpting,
fun runs for all ages,
a classic car show, and
community merchant drawings.
Savor delicious meals like the famous pork chop dinner and pancake breakfast, and enjoy music, variety acts, bingo, and nightly giveaways. Don’t miss this festive weekend packed with entertainment, great food, and small-town charm!
