Tamburitzans Come to Munster, Indiana


The longest running live stage show in America, the Duquesne University Tamburitzans will be taking the stage at Munster High School on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020 at 2pm at Munster High School. Tickets are $25 a person with senior discounts and group discounts call the box office at 877-826-6437.  The Tamburitzans is a group of students that travel the country performing the songs, music and dance of Eastern Europe and neighboring countries.

The Tamburitzans is a non-profit organization composed solely of students. We believe that the ethnic communities and people of (Your City) would have a great interest in this performance to experience America’s Premier Folk Ensemble for an unforgettable performance!

 Since its founding in 1937, The Tamburitzans has been entertaining and educating audiences across the country. Currently, the ensemble has one of the most active schedules among American touring ensembles, performing dozens of concerts on tour each year for community performing arts series, major music festivals and more.

The Duquesne University Tamburitzans is dedicated to preserving and perpetuating the cultural heritages of Eastern Europe and its neighbors through performance, while awarding scholarships to talented and deserving student performers.

The Tamburitzans unique performance of eastern European song and dance makes the ensemble an ideal choice for presenters. The Tamburitzans is available for Full Length-Family Friendly performances, Pre or Post Show Discussions, Education and Outreach and Master Classes.
