The Simply Amazing Market, a division of Opportunity Enterprises, is proud to announce the grand opening of an additional store location inside the Valparaiso Meijer. The store opened its doors on Monday, September 24, 2018 with a celebratory ribbon cutting being held in conjunction with the Valparaiso Chamber on Monday, October 8, 2018 at 4:30 pm.
Fans of the Simply Amazing Market noted the same favorite flavors of popcorn and fudge along with the addition of seasonal favorites, candies, glazed nuts, quick serve treats, and readymade gift baskets. Patrons shopping through the grand opening period can enter to win a gift basket filled with Simply Amazing Market products.
In addition to the sweet and savory food treats the market is known for, the Simply Amazing Market at Meijer featured handmade art and ceramics. Each piece of art sold provides a commission to an individual with a disability.
“We are excited about the opportunity to showcase the amazing work of individuals with disabilities while satisfying local’s sweet tooth and snacking needs,” said Jennifer Fine, Retail Director. “We have been working on this amazing opportunity for many months and it is exciting to see it coming together.”
The original Simply Amazing Market location on the north side of Opportunity Enterprises at 2801 Evans Ave in Valparaiso remains the production and operations headquarters and corporate gift hub.
The Simply Amazing Market at Meijer will be open seven days a week to serve customers making it more convenient for them to purchase their sweet and salty treats when they want. Hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 7 pm, Friday, 9 am – 8 pm, Saturday – Sunday, 10 am – 6 pm.
Guests to the Ribbon Cutting event on Monday, October 8 at 4:30 pm will be treated to flavor sampling, sales, and munchables provided by Chester Inc, the firm that designed and built the new store location.
