A severe thunderstorm was detected over Hobart at 5:00 AM CDT, moving eastward at a speed of 35 mph. The storm poses a hazard of 60 mph wind gusts, which may cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Portage,
Merrillville,
Valparaiso,
Hobart,
Crown Point,
Chesterton,
and others.
The warning also includes multiple interstates in the area.
There is a possibility of a tornado and hail, with radar indicating a maximum hail size of less than 0.75 inches and a maximum wind gust of 60 mph. This warning impacts several notable places, such as:
