**** Highly Recommended **** Porchlight Music Theatre’s production of “Dreamgirls” is just about perfect. Collectively, these voices are a gorgeous blend; individually, each performer has incredible range. If you’re a Motown fan, you’ll love, love, love this show! I give “Dreamgirls” 4 Spotlights.
“Dreamgirls” runs through May 22nd at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago. Running time is 2 hours, 30 minutes, with an intermission. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 pm; Fridays at 8:00 pm; Saturdays at 4:00 and 8:00 pm; and Sundays at 2:00. Tickets range from $35-$48.
