     “It’s halftime now and the pressures on the clock is ticking down. The Bears are gonna take Chicago to the top and never get out of bounds.”  These are the lyrics to the new Chicago Bears theme song written by our contributing writer Valencia ‘Mother Diva” Dantzler – “Open Season Chicago Bears,”  inspired by the original song “Open Season” created by Johnny Dangerous aka Foremost Poets.
      Yes, this is the same Johnny Dangerous that is involved in a litigation with Beyonce’s Parkwood Entertainment for the musical work “Alien Superstar.” The track contains a sample of Johnny’s song, “Moonraker” which he owns both copyright and publishing. Parkwood Entertainment  took the proper steps to clear the sample from Johnny.  However, Independent Soundmen on Wax Records label owner Shuji Hirose filed the lawsuit claiming that Johnny did not own the song making the deal invalid. However, I spoke to Johnny on this matter and he told me this was not true. Johnny said he licensed the track to Hirose. When a song is licensed that is a rental not a sale. 
     Beyonce is not named in the lawsuit only the record labels. Hirose would have to show proof Johnny sold him the rights and transfer of ownership to his song which Johnny claims he did not. Johnny said, “Hirose will only make their case worse.” If Hirose has been using “Moonraker” this whole time, then Hirose owes Johnny Dangerous several thousand dollars. So now Johnny can countersue Hirose for unpaid royalties. Such nasty business.  I am certain if that be the case this lawsuit will be dismissed. Read the full Story here
       20 Years ago I heard “Open Season” in the house music clubs of Chicago and thought this would be a great song for our Chicago Bears. So I followed Johnny’s lead and used some of his lyrics mixed with my own and got the instrumental version given to me by a DJ  I was dating at the time DJ Dave Merritt.  Dave co-wrote “Open Season” contributing 13 words. It was so long ago I forgot what 13 words he contributed lol. But I do know it was not the rap. I wrote that rap and flowed it. (Dave was one half of a house music duo with Shawn Shegog “No Name” the duo was known for horror themed house songs “Jason’s Watching” and “Living On The Darkside” also their house trance hit “Hypnotic House”)  

     But here is a twist, “Open Season” original version has a sample of Kool and The Gang’s “Open Sesame.” I met the song writers Ronald (RIP) and Robert Bell at the African Festival of The Arts in 2007 and we had a conversation about the song.  I just recently contacted Mr. Bell with the updated 2025 version. 

     In 2007, NBC 5 Chicago listed the song  as the number 3 Bears Tribute Song and the only song that was house music produced by a female. The NBC team made a mistake and listed the song title as “Mother Diva Football.” I gave copies to 7 Chicago Bears, INCLUDING Tommy Jones, Mike Brown, and performed the song for Justin Gage and Chris Harris. I believe the song got them to the Superbowl in 2007. Unfortunately they lost.

 THE 40 YEAR PRINCIPLE

     I use the pattern of the universe to predict the Chicago Bears will go to the Superbowl and win based on the 40 year principle of Blood, Water, Spirit, 40. I wrote the song as a gift to the Chicago Bears to boost their morale. IT IS NOT FOR SALE IT IS A FREE GIFT. If the Chicago Bears Organization wants to sell it they can negotiate with us. MY JOB AS A WOMAN FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT YAHSHUA IS TO SAVE LIVES AND INSPIRE OTHERS TO BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES.

     I can put it out for sale in July for the purpose of a Grammy Nomination which is a requirement. A song must be for sale to be considered for a Grammy Nomination. The Super Bowl Shuffle was nominated for Best R&B Group or Duo with Vocals at the 1987 Grammys. The song lost to Prince’s “Kiss.”  Using the 40 year principle my song should get nominated and win this time.

     The 40 year principle is based on the number 4 in the bible. The children of Israel were in the wilderness 40 years before the new generation could enter into Canaan’s Land. Life consists of, in every situation in principle and also in the physical. BLOOD, WATER, SPIRIT, 40. A baby is in the womb 40 weeks, when the baby is born, there is blood, water, and the baby crying Yah is spirit. 

    In the Bible, the number 40 symbolizes a significant period of testing, trial, probation, and transformation. This often leads to divine judgment or blessing, representing a complete cycle for preparation, repentance, or a generation’s experience. As seen in Noah’s flood (40 days/nights), Moses’ time on Sinai (40 days/nights), Yahshua / Jesus’ fast (40 days/nights), and the 40-day Lent season. The scripture also states Moses at 40 years of age. (Acts 7:23)

     I used this same principle to predict the winning candidate in 2019 when Lori Lightfoot was running for Mayor of Chicago. It had been 40 years since Chicago had a female Mayor (Jane Byrne 1979). Now there were two women in the run-off, Toni Preckwinkle and Lori Lightfoot. Ms. Lightfoot’s campaign slogan was “Bring In The Light.” Who is the Light of the World? I believe the light of the world Yahshua who the world calls Jesus The Christ. 

     I used the same 40 – year principle to predict Brandon Johnson would win Mayor of Chicago in 2023. It had been 40 years since an American-African (I said it how I said it) male had been Mayor, Harold Washington in 1983.

     It has been 40 years since the Chicago Bears won the SuperBowl. So they will either go and win or its the 50 year principle of Jubilee in 2036. However, I believe it will be 2026. We shall see? 

     In addition, there is also the theory of ASTROPROJECTION NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH ASTRAL PROJECTION. Astroprojection is sending energy into the universe or to another person. 

     When Yahweh was speaking to Moses from the burning bush. (3^rd Chapter Exodus: Moses had been there for 40 years) Yahweh was astroprojecting from Joshua the Son of Nun who had been down in Egypt walking with the people. Joshua was really Yahshua (Jesus) in the institution.  When he came as the Messiah that was in the fulfillment. There is no J in Hebrew so any J that is in the bible should be a Y. Hebrews 4:8 refers to Joshua giving the people rest. In some bibles it reads “if Jesus had given them rest.” That meant Yahshua/Jesus was back there in the Old Testament. In John 5:46: the messiah states “Moses wrote of him.” If Moses wrote only the first 5 books of the bible, then Yahshua/Jesus back there. The holy spirit is eternal and has always existed and should live in all of hearts and minds. 

ASTROPROJECTION:

     In this video, there are small clips put together of me playing the song and pointing the speaker towards the television as the Chicago Bears were playing (January 10, 2026).  I started during this in the 3rd quarter. The more I played the song the more the Bears score went up AND THEY WON.

YOUTH PROGRAM “DEFENDERS OF DEMOCRACY

     The Chicago Bears just partnered with Cook County Clerk Monica Gordon FOR THE YOUTH PROGRAM “DEFENDERS OF DEMOCRACY.”  The program will turn Cook County Suburban high schools into polling locations and offer youth opportunities to be election judges for the upcoming primary elections. Note: A 17 year old can vote in the primary election as long as they turn 18 by the general election. Well that’s a whole lot of birthdays coming up. 
     Monica Gordon  and I have known each other since 2019, when she was running for State Senate. We share some of the same personality traits and at times we bumped heads. However she is very educated and skilled and I voted for her when she ran for Prairie State College Board. Her climb in her career has been amazing. Monica is up for re-election so if you are in Cook County please cast your vote for Monica Gordon for Cook County Clerk.
