Free family fun entertainment returns to Pine Lake in La Porte on July 21 when the Rotary Club of La Porte and generous sponsors bring the exciting Lake City Skiers back for a one hour thrilling water ski show beginning at 5:30 pm! Last year, the shores and the lake were lined with excited viewers who were surprised and thrilled at the level of showmanship and difficulty of the water ski tricks and treats displayed! The show promises to be even bigger and better, with not one but two local celebrities planning on putting in an acrobatic ski appearance this year. More celebrity information will be coming!
Parking is free in the area behind Cummins Lodge in Soldiers Memorial Park. Bring chairs and blankets, and prepare for a truly fun experience for all! Waverly Road will be closed from Soldiers Memorial Park entrance to Garden Street from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Food trucks and vendors will be adjacent to the beach and road viewing area with a variety of food and beverage treats for purchase.
Waterski Show t-shirts will be available for purchase after June 1, and are being specially designed for the 2nd Annual Show. Several of the Lake City Water Ski team and the Rotary Club was in the 4th of July Parade and reminded folks that the show will be coming up.
