Free NWI Symphony Concert Dates Released

     The Free Symphony Concerts In the Park, begin in July in Crown Point and concludes on August. every year. These FREE concerts are hosted by the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra in 6 communities across Northwest Indiana. Come early, bring your lawn chairs and blankets and, relax and enjoy the music! Everyone is welcome.
     “We are so excited to celebrate many years of our wonderful summer music festival. Thank you for supporting your Orchestra,” said Maestro Muspratt. “Join us for fun, relaxing evenings filled with beautiful music in our own backyards!”
     The concerts will have something for everyone and will feature light classical, songs from movies and Broadway, and patriotic music. The South Shore Summer Music Festival will be appearing at:
CROWN POINT:
Saturday, July 39th, 7:30 pm on the Lawn at Franciscan Communities, (Corner of Main and Franciscan)
(Rain location: Crown Point High School, 1500 S. Main Street).
VALPARAISO:
On Wed., August 2nd, at 7:30 PM the free concert will be held Downtown Valparaiso at the Porter Health Amphitheater in Central Park Plaza. Click here for more! (rain location – Valparaiso High School)
LANSING ILLINOIS:
Friday, July 21st, Fox Pointe, 18138 Henry St., 7:30pm, Rain Location: Thornton Fractional South Gym, 18500 Burnham Ave.
GRIFFITH:
The Free Symphony Concert in Griffith will be held Saturday, August 5th, 7:30 pm at Central Park (600 N. Broad Street) (Rain location: Griffith High School, 600 N. Wiggs Street)
HAMMOND – WOLF LAKE:
The Hammond Concert will be held on Sunday, July 23rd, 7:30 pm at the Wolf Lake Pavilion (Calumet Ave. at Sheffield Ave.) (Rain location: Calumet College of St. Joseph Athletic Center, 2400 New York Avenue, Whiting)
SCHERERVILLE:
Schererville’s Concert will be held on Saturday, July 22nd 7:30 pm at Redar Park (Austin Street north of US 30) (Rain location: Lake Central High School, 8400 Wicker Ave., St. John)
MUNSTER:
New this year, a concert will be held at Centennial park, on Monday, July 31st, at Centennial Park, located at 1005 S. Centennial Dr.,

The Symphony’s 2023 season will consist of 3 classical and 3 pops concerts presented from September through May. Subscriptions and Tickets are available now.
