Get ready for a day filled with family-friendly activities, delicious food, and heartwarming connections at the ‘Souper-Stride’ fundraiser! This event, supporting the therapeutic horse-riding program at Exceptional Equestrians, will take place on Sunday, October 13th, 2024 from 12:00-3:00 at their facility located at 5699 E 73rd Avenue, Merrillville, IN.
‘Souper-Stride‘ is set to be an exciting and impactful event, giving the community a chance to have fun while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with special needs. Attendees can enjoy scenic walking trails, hop on a relaxing hayride, and get creative with pumpkin painting. There will also be opportunities to meet the remarkable therapy horses that play such a vital role in the program. To top it all off, guests can savor a delicious selection of homemade soups and chilis. The event will also feature raffles and auctions with fantastic prizes, offering everyone a chance to win while supporting a truly worthy cause.
In addition to our traditional family-favorite activities, this year’s event will feature something new: a foam machine, providing hours of bubbly fun for kids of all ages!
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the nonprofit’s therapeutic horse-riding program, which provides essential services to individuals with special needs across Northwest Indiana (NWI). This unique program helps individuals of all ages build physical, emotional, and cognitive skills through the healing power of horses.
Ticket prices are $30 for adults and $20 for kids aged 5-12. Children under 5 can attend for free. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those interested in supporting the cause on a larger scale.
