The Polish Heritage Festival is only two weeks away! Come enjoy the event on Sunday, Sept. 15th, at Friendship Botanic Gardens, 2055 E. U.S. Hwy. 12, in Michigan City, IN.
Attendees may attend the main celebrant for the Polish-English Mass at 10:30 am in the Symphony Garden.
Festivities will follow the Mass from 11:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Other highlights include food by the Cavalier Inn and the Baker’s Dozen bakery; a kiszka booth and beer garden; Polish folk dance troupes performances; Polish-American Polka Band, “Ampol Aires”; cultural displays; pisanki (Polish Easter egg decorating) demonstrations; raffles; and much more!
New this year: join in a free Polish village song and dance workshop conducted by Dr. Michael Young.
Admission is $7 for adults and free for children under 12.
