In 2005, upon hearing about the discontinuation of the annual Historical Days festival, a group of citizens formed a committee to carry on the summer festival tradition. The festival was renamed Hometown Days.
The Festival features: Parade, Fireworks, Auto Show, Food, Inflatables, Pedal Pull, Carnival Rides, Dunk tank, Pitch booth.
Now in its 20th year, Hometown Days continues to provide a safe, fun, and family-oriented event on the last full weekend of each July. New Carlisle Hometown Days, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. The steering committee consists of a group of citizens representing many area churches, businesses, and other nonprofit organizations.

Sat: 10am – 8pm
Sun: 10am – 4pm
SATURDAY:
Car Show: 11am- 3pm
Parade: Noon
