Valpo Parks invites the public for a Luminary Walk on Thursday, December 13th, 5:30 pm -9 p.m., at the Vale Park West Pathway. Valpo’s new pathway will come alive after dark with thousands of luminaries, singing, and tasty delights. Carolers, cookies, and Culver’s hot chocolate await walkers as they stroll through the crisp night experiencing the breathtaking ambiance of the ¾-mile pathway that spans over Beauty Creek.
For those driving to the trailhead, on street parking is available in Keystone Commons, Windsor Park/Beauty Creek subdivisions, Foundation Meadows Park, Valpo Parks Admin Building, and Valparaiso High School. The walk is free and luminary sponsorships are available For more information, contact the Parks Department office at 462-5144.
