Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr., Hammond Parks & Recreation and PepsiCo are proud to announce the 13th Annual Cinco De Mayo Celebration to be held on Friday, May 5 at the Hammond Civic Center, 5825 S. Sohl Avenue from 5p-10p. Tickets are on sale now at the Hammond Civic Center Business Office for $15 each, which includes food and live entertainment. This colorful gala features fantastic Mexican cuisine by Taqueria Los Comales.
The menu this year consists of chicken fajitas, diced pork ribs in green salsa stew, stuffed poblano peppers, rice, beans, chips and salsa. Children’s meals are available for $5 each and will consist of hot dogs or chicken nuggets with a bag of chips and soda.
Live Entertainment throughout the evening. A cash bar is available and serving Bud Light, Corona and Bud Light Margaritas in lime and strawberry.
