If you’ve got a green thumb, you’ll be interested in the Hammond Public Library’s 2017 series of gardening programs. Even if your plants are of the silk or polyester variety, join us on the second Thursday each month to get info about the various stages of gardening, from Spring thru Fall.
Mark your calendars, step away from the trowel for an hour or so, and join us. The following programs run from April through November and all take place at 6:30 p.m. on the following Thursdays:
April 27, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, September 7, October 12 and November 9.
April’s program will be “Pollinator Gardening and Seed Giveaway” with Dolly Foster. Come and learn how to attract butterflies and bees. And return again on May 11 for “The Wonderful World of Weeds, A Search and Destroy Mission.”
