The Easter Bunny is visiting Taltree on April 8, 9, and 15th. A professional photographer will be on site to take photos of families with the bunny in Taltree’s Depot building from 10am to 3pm. While in the Depot, families can view the indoor Easter Village with model trains and various exhibits depicting the history of the railroad. After photos, families can head outside to the Railway Garden or visit the animals in the Children’s Adventure Garden.
Along with photos, Taltree’s first annual Easter Egg Hunt is being held on April 15th at 11am. Young ones (toddlers to age 12) will scramble to collect eggs filled with treasures in the Children’s Adventure Garden. Parents are asked to accompany young children. Those who turn in their empty eggs at the end of the hunt will receive a special prize. This allows Taltree to recycle the eggs for future years. The hunt is free with admission. No registration is necessary.
Arboretum admission on April 8, 9, and 15th is $10 per non-member carload and free for Taltree members. Photo pricing is $10 per one 5×7 print or four wallet prints. There is also an option for an emailed digital image at a cost of $10.
