Traditional events for July resume with the of hosting of the 4th of July parade & fireworks by the City of Crown Point,. The excitement returns in 2026.
PARADE:
The festivities feature an expanded parade showcasing 32 historical floatsโfrom the Boston Tea Party to the 1969 Moon Landingโand fireworks at dusk.
This year the City of Crown Point will hold the parade at 11:00 AM. Parade begins at ๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฎ.๐บ. ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐, ๐๐๐น๐ ๐ฐ, on Main Street near Crown Point High School. The parade ends at the Tank on Goldsborough Street. Please note the time change! Historically this event took place at 2:00 PM. Many times, daily temperatures reaching upwards of 90 degrees or higher made participating in our parade difficult. By moving this event to 11:00 AM, we can beat the heat and still have time to enjoy family and friends before the fireworks display at dusk.

The Celebration Committee invites everyone to the Lake County Fairgrounds for the Fireworks Display which will begin at dusk on July 4th. Early arrival is recommended.
