Join rangers at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore for an afternoon exploring our historic homesteads every Sunday in July from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Meet at 1:00 pm in the Bailly and Chellberg main parking lot for an informative history talk.

Explore the interiors of both historic homes and homesteads from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Learn about early settlers and farmers who came to this region in the 1800s. Be sure to bring the kids at 4:00 pm to help feed the farm animals at Chellberg Farm.

The Bailly Homestead / Chellberg Farm main parking lot is located on Mineral Springs Road between U.S. Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 12 in Porter, Indiana. For more information on this or other programs at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, call 219-395-1882 or visit our website at www.nps.gov/indu and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/IndianaDunesNL.
