Dyer Indiana Announces Halloween Parade

It’s that time of year again to get out your best Halloween costumes for Dyer Parks and Recreation’s annual Halloween Parade! Come dressed in your best costume and meet us at Dyer Town Hall where registration will begin at 1pm and continue through 1:45pm. The parade starts at 2pm SHARP!

– We will be awarding prizes to Best Overall Costume, Best Family Themed Costume, Best Pet in Costume, Youngest in Costume, and best costumes in specific age ranges from newborn-adult.

– This year, we will also be holding a raffle to win some spook-tacular prizes. Tickets will be only $1!

– ALSO! Brand new to the parade this year will be a Pumpkin Decorating Contest that will be judged by the parade participants. Whether the pumpkin is carved or painted, we want to see some creative looking masterpieces! Entry fee is $5 per pumpkin and the pumpkin must arrive at Dyer Town Hall by 12:45pm so that they can be displayed before parade participants arrive. Amount of winners will depend on number of entries and will be awarded during the event. Prior registration is NECESSARY and you can register at http://www.parksregistration.townofdyer.com

We always appreciate the support from the Dyer Community and we hope to see your costumes and pumpkins at Dyer Town Hall!

Parade begins at 1 pm.
The parade route starts at Town Hall and goes to Pheasant Hills Park and back.
