“BLKS” – a Funny Play about living with Your Besties

**** Recommended **** “BLKS” is a really funny play about living with your besties. Like most twenty-somethings, roommates Octavia (Nora Carroll), June (Leea Ayers) and Imani (Celeste M. Cooper) are trying to find themselves – and a good job, pots of money and someone to love – at least until sh*t happens. Although I did enjoy the production, I missed some of the dialogue when the actors failed to pause when the audience reacted. 3 ½ Spotlights

“BLKS” runs through January 28th in Steppenwolf’s Upstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted, Chicago. Paid parking ($12 cash or card) is available in Steppenwolf’s garage at 1624 N. Halsted. Valet parking is also available ($14 cash).
