The Cedar Lake Summerfest was started in 1981. Our festival is held over the fourth of July weekend every year. It is a great way for your family to celebrate our country’s independence.
This 4-Day Festival offers a great variety of activities for all ages. The fest is held on the shore of our 800 acre lake in the Lake of the Red Cedars Park, an 18 acre park.
Activities that we offer are Live Entertainment, 2 nights of Fireworks on the lake, Bingo, Car Show, Talent Show, Kids Games, Cardboard Boat Race, Amusement Rides, Food, Games, Parade, Cup Stacking, Laser Light Show (by the stage area), Beer Garden and much more.
The 2026 Dates for the Cedar Lake Summerfest are July 2nd – July 5th, 2026 with free admission, ($5 parking fee) town complex. Activities include:

Friday, 5:00pm – 11:00pm – Fireworks
Saturday, Noon – Midnight – Cardboard Boat Race,
Sunday, 7:00am – 8:30pm – Boat Parade at 5pm, Car Show & Talent Show, 2026

Highland Announces July 4th Festival Schedule
