For the 6th year, The Southern Shore Art Association is exhibiting the unique talents of extraordinary young adult art students with special needs. A generous grant from the Michigan City Enrichment Corporation enabled the budding artists to explore an eclectic mix of techniques and media. A ten-week art program, taught by artist members of the SSAA resulted in this exhibit of landscapes, drawings, abstract art, collage and photography. This year they learned some new skills in a glass art and sandcasting class. A shorter Spring program was also offered and appreciated by the students.
During this instructional program the students gained confidence in their artistic talents, became friends and are very excited to showcase their works of art. Don’t miss this exciting exhibit of extraordinary art from talented young artists.
