Wild Spring Preview at the Washington Park Zoo

Spring is upon us, and that means it’s also time for the reopening of the Washington Park Zoo!  The Washington Park Zoo will open daily for the 2024 season starting on April 1st.  However, this year we will be hosting a special Wild Spring Preview on March 30th and 31st with the gates open from 10:00 am to 3 p.m.

The Washington Park Zoo marks a top destination for locals and visitors, with more than 220 individual animals representing 95 species from all around the globe. Accredited by the Zoological Association of America, the zoo has been a cornerstone of Michigan City since 1928.

There is always something new to see and do at the zoo, including new animals and habitat improvements.   Again this season, the zoo will host a range of special events and camps for eager learners.

Regular admission is $10 for adults, $8 for kids ages 2 to 11 years, $9 for seniors ages 62 and older, and free for kids ages two and under.

Washington Park Zoo members get in for free on regular admission dates.

For more information on this event and zoo updates, please visit the Washington Park Zoo’s Facebook page or visit our website www.washingtonparkzoo.com
