On the other hand, how would their choices in life look if we had a different perspective? Why did my child do that ________ (fill in the blank)? That’s the point of “Mother of the Maid”, Northlight Theatre’s poignant historic drama about the mother of Joan d’Arc, played to perfection by Kate Fry. Kudos to Director BJ Jones on an amazing production. 4 Spotlights
“Mother of the Maid” runs through October 20th at Northlight Theatre, North Shore Center for the Performing Arts, 9501 Skokie Blvd., Skokie. Parking is free, although valet parking is available. Running time is 2 hours, 10 minutes, with an intermission. Performances are Wednesdays at 1:00 and 7:30 pm; Thursdays at 7:30 pm; Fridays at 8:00 pm, Saturdays at 2:30 and 8:00 pm; Sundays at 2:30 pm. Tickets range from $30-$89.
