The Honors College of Valparaiso University, in collaboration with the English and theatre departments, sponsors Valparaiso University’s fourth annual Shakespeare Week, featuring a weeklong residency by Actors From The London Stage.
This longstanding group of classically trained actors will visit Valparaiso Feb. 14–18 on its 2017 Spring Tour for a series of classroom visits, workshops, text readings, on-stage demonstrations and Shakespeare-oriented events. The week concludes with three performances of “Romeo and Juliet.”

“Private Romeo” is a 2011 film directed by Alan Brown.

Performed by Children’s Theatre Works of Chicago Street Theatre. Free admission.
- “Romeo and Juliet,” Feb. 16–18, 7 p.m., University Theatre

Admission is $10 for children under the age of 18; $15 for Valpo students, faculty and staff; and $25 for the general public.
