Eclectica pop up gallery michigan city first friday art walk

Uptown Arts District Holiday Pop-Up Gallery

ECLECTICA’s holiday opening event begins on First Friday Art Walk, December 2, 4-8pm at Down Gallery located downstairs at the popular Revive Consignments at 523 Franklin Street in Michigan City IN where they will feature one-of-a-kind jewelry, wearables, accessories, paintings, photography, fine art and crafts – all types of unique gift choices for your holiday giving.

Items featured at ECLECTICA have been gathered or handmade by three women who have been producing, designing or collecting art, jewelry and clothing for years, and they decided to share their interests. ANKO (Anneke Dekker-Olthof) is the former designer/owner of the wildly popular ANKO Fashions. She is a world traveler and collector of exotic jewelry, a multi-media artist and designer of anything and everything. Kathy Dennis is a collector of Native American and indigenous tribal objects, jewelry and art. Graphic designer, Dani Lane, is a fashion devotee and collector, and representative of artists, photographers and craftsmen.

Joining the three will be photographers Gloria Newcomb, Jack Lane and Kyron Williams, Sue Quiriconi with lake glass and fossil jewelry, Kathi Millet with wire weaving and wrapping jewelry and Staara with ‘lanterns for your inner light’ among other artists and craftsmen.

Anneke, Kathy and Dani will be ready to welcome you for their First Friday Holiday Opening on December 2 at 4pm with holiday punch and nibbles. ECLECTICA will also be open during December weekends (Sat and Sun) from 10am to 5pm on December 3 and 4, 10 and 11, 17 and 18.
