Town Wide Garage Sale And Sidewalk Sale – Hammond Indiana

     Who is ready for the FUN of the FIND?
     EVERYONE is welcome to participate and EVERYONE is invited to join us! If you love to go treasure hunting, if you love to shop, or if you like to learn about organizations in the area, then join us for a “haunting” good time at the Downtown Hammond Council’s Hunting off Hohman on Saturday, October 3rd from 9am – 4pm.     Neighborhood and Business Garage-Yard Sale/Sidewalk Sale/Vendor Market – and Do you love Halloween? We do!

Vendors and participants are invited to dress up in their favorite costume!
-Win prizes and bragging rights!
-Spooktacular and frightening fun awaits you!
*A listing of addresses and participants will be available prior to the event on the Downtown Hammond Council’s Facebook page.

-The cost to participate is $10 for a 10×10 booth space.
-Participants must provide their own tables, chairs, and tents/canopies. Tents and canopies are recommended but are not required. What and who to expect? Who may participate?
-Downtown Hammond businesses and organizations will host sidewalk sales and special events!
-Hammond residents will host yard sales and garage sales!
-Residents from all over Northwest Indiana and surrounding communities can rent booth space for a yard sale!
Vendor booths will be set up in Downtown Hammond. Booth spaces will be assigned in Downtown Hammond.
-Vendors may sell vintage and antique items, hand crafted/up-cycled/re-repurposed goods by local artists, used or new items, and independent distributors/consultants at our Monster Market!

Texts and calls are accepted between 9 am-7pm.
 
     IMPORTANT: All guests and participants must wear a mask, practice social distancing, and use hand sanitizer.
The Downtown Hammond Council/DHC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is comprised of VOLUNTEERS whose mission is to revitalize, beautify, and promote our Downtown. Their organization was established in 1954. We rely on passionate volunteers. They do not employ staff.

     NOTE:
The Downtown Hammond Council’s Haunting in Hammond is held annually on the first Saturday in October.
