“The Columnist” brings Joseph Alsop to Life

**** Highly Recommended **** In these days of tablets, laptops, cell phones and 24-hour news cycles, millennials who don’t read newspapers might think “The Columnist”, an intensely gripping play about a giant in journalism, Joseph Alsop, just isn’t relevant.  As the Washington, D.C. media is proving day after day, working your sources and digging for information has a way of uncovering the truth.  Joe Alsop did exactly that for more than 40 years, using his connections, a rotary phone and a typewriter!  “The Columnist” is a terrific play.  4 Spotlights
