Texas Tenors Coming To Whiting Indiana!

The Whiting Park Festival Orchestra  (WPFO) is proud to open the 2018 season with The Texas Tenors.will return on August 18th, 2018.  All Concerts are FREE!. Bring your own chair and picnic basket! Chair and table rental Available for $5 (chairs) and $10 (Tables).

With their Emmy Award winning PBS special now airing across the country, and Billboard chart topping albums, it’s easy to see why The Texas Tenors are America’s favorite new tenors. Since their whirlwind debut six years ago on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, The Texas Tenors have accumulated a long list of awards, accolades and excited fans. They have performed more than 1000 concerts around the world, including a 24-city tour in the United Kingdom, Shanghai, China and collaborations with some of the most prestigious symphonies, performing arts centers and arenas in the United States.   The Texas Tenors are sponsored by the City of Whiting.

From Bruno Mars to Puccini, Marcus Collins, John Hagen and JC Fisher treat audiences to a unique blend of country, classical, Broadway and current pop music. They use breathtaking vocals, humor and a touch of cowboy charm to create an unforgettable live show. The Orchestra will be featured in three appropriately Western-themed movie scores: “Magnificent 7” by Elmer Bernstein, “How the West Was Won” by Alfred Newman, and “Silverado” by Bruce Broughton.

Subscribers receive seating in the reserved seating area, use of the hospitality tent, free parking for $25 per individuals and $75 per family. Call the Whiting Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce at 219-659-0292 for subscription tickets.

This free concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Relax along the hillside and enjoy the wonderful concert in the beautiful surroundings of the Lakefront Park and view of Lake Michigan. Refreshments are available at the concession stand. Allow time for parking and finding your seating area.
