Superb Solo Performance by Wandachristine in “Beauty’s Daughter”

*** Recommended *** I’m still not sure how I feel about American Blues Theater’s production of “Beauty’s Daughter”.  Although Wandachristine gives a superb solo performance in Dael Orlandersmith’s one-woman show, I was bewildered by the abrupt switches from character to character.  One minute she was talking about getting dumped by a gorgeous guy.  Suddenly she transformed into some random Puerto Rican guy.  Who’s that and why is he there?  Where are the connections?  3 Spotlights
