Spring Into The Arts Valparaiso

This is the kick-off event for “Spring into the Arts”, a month long creative festival developed by VCS art educators celebrating and highlighting the Arts in downtown Valparaiso landmark venues. Beginning at the Urschel Pavillion  on April 30th, @rt-chitecture walk will showcase VCS K-12 artwork at 6 landmark locations downtown. The artwork of Valparaiso University  students will also be on display at business locations along the walk.  Technology will enhance all artwork, allowing viewers to watch artist-related content as they look at exhibits. The unique route will also engage attendees with an architectural history tour about buildings they pass.  Attendees will be able to scan posted QR codes along the route to hear city trivia or historical information about that  particular building or spot. The art will stay on display for the entire month for Valparaiso residents and visitors to explore. White Key Gallery is #7 on the tour and will showcase the artwork of Middle and High School students.
