“Southern Fried Funeral” on Marian Theatre Guild’s April Menu
Dewey Frye is dead and the rest of his family is left to pick up the pieces – that is, if they don’t kill each other first. Funerals bring out the worst, the best, and the funniest in people as you’ll see with Marian Theatre Guild’s spring offering, the comedy, “Southern Fried Funeral.”
This is the first time a show has been produced since the Pandemic and actors, the director and all the MTG volunteers are excited to be back together to bring you this big-hearted family comedy – Southern-style.
Jayma Kay Emerson serves as both a cast member and the show’s Director. The cast includes Deborah Huffer Rokosz, Lori Knudson, Maggie Foster, David Arroyo, Kevin Sherman, Ray Huntington, Tony Vivacqua, Betty Jo Diaz, Deejai Halicky and Susan Bobos.
It’s time to be laughing out loud again and you will with “Southern Fried Funeral” on the Marian menu.
Show dates are Saturdays April 23 and 30 at 8:15p.m. and Sunday matinees April 24 and May 1 at 3p.m. Note: there will be no dinners for this show. Call MTG for reservations at 219-473-7555. Tickets are $17 for Adults and $15 for Students and Seniors.
