Schererville Ushers In The Holiday Season

It’s the Friday after Thanksgiving, and the town Schererville has a tradition of ushering in the Holidays in Grand Style. In 2019 there was lots of Frozen Fever spreading when the Schererville Parks debuted Schererville’s the first Frozen Fever theme. Who knows what 2020 will bring.
In the past, we’ve seen the Grinch and before that it was the big man – Santa Claus! This FREE EVENT is for ALL AGES! When Anna & Elsa set out on their fierce journey they decided to make a pit stop in Schererville. Kids and families of all ages witness the exciting entrance of Anna & Elsa riding in on a magical frozen transportation.

And, Frozen Fever was contagious,  because The Grinch and Santa Claus requested an invite as well. Elsa of course obliged! The Grinch arrived on a Garbage Truck and Santa on a Fire Truck. Olaf, Rudloph, Frosty and PJ Masks were there too! There were also a Balloon Artists and Face Painters available for purchase.

Every year, this FREE EVENT is for all ages. Families young and old get to meet with all characters, purchase from the Arendelle Alley shops (Crafters) and enjoy FREE Cocoa and Cookies provided by the Schererville Chamber of Commerce.

The festivities take place in front of the Community Center at 500 E. Joliet St, Downtown Schererville. In case of inclement weather, festivities are brought inside.
