Scattered Site Parade Of Homes Planned for NWI Lake and Porter Counties

The Home Builders Association of Northwest Indiana is planning a Scattered Site Parade of Homes in Lake and Porter Counties on two weekends of September 23-24th and September 30th – October 1st, 2023 from Noon – 4pm. There are 17 new homes in eight different cities in Northwest Indiana.

The homes are located in eight different cities including: St. John, Crown Point, Winfield, Lowell, Schererville, Hebron, Valparaiso and Chesterton. There is a map online that shows the exact address and location of each home on their website.

With the actual builders on-site at each home to answer any questions participants might have, the Parade of Homes will provide people with an even better understanding of what’s going on in the housing industry, People can ask questions as simple as why a builder chose a certain layout or color scheme. Or, they can ask more complex questions such as why a builder chose to build in a specific community and why moving into The Region might be beneficial for their family.

The participating Builders are:
Dabrowski Construction, D.R. Horton Construction, Fisher Construction, Lennar Construction, Heartland Builders, Providence Homes, and Viking Build Homes.

“It’s a great way to meet a lot of different builders in one day and interact in a more relaxed setting than having a one-on-one appointment with them. This is a way to meet each builder and see which community and what builder you click with,” said Christine Neal. “It’s the best opportunity to get an idea of what new construction looks like here in Northwest Indiana,” said continued Neal.
