The Valparaiso Parks Department is once again offering hayrides at Rogers-Lakewood Park this fall, with support from Bloomfield Mechanical. The tractor-drawn  hayride is great fun for youth groups, family gatherings, clubs, birthday parties and more. The hour and a half outing provides a wonderful setting to enjoy autumn in the woods. A campfire is waiting for riders at the end of the ride.

     Hayrides are by reservation only and can be scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons from September 16 through November 6.  Available hayride times are 5:30, 7:00, and 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings and 3:00, 4:30, and 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. Reservations include a 45-minute hayride and 45-minute campfire.  Groups are welcome to bring food and beverages. The fee is $68 for residents; $80 for non-Valparaiso residents.
