Robin Feeley Art Exhibit at Miller Beach

   – Iconic portraiture, animal instinct, endangered species, and Dias de los Muertos.  These are a few of the topics award winning artist Robyn Feeley seeks to capture in her unique signature style.  Robyn grew up on the on the shores of Lake Michigan in Miller Beach surrounded by art and creativity. She is also the co-founder of the Miller Bakery Café.

Something between caricature and pure whimsy, combining vibrant pastel with recycled ceramics and NW Indiana beach stone, Robyn seeks to create images that venture far from the mundane depiction of reality.

As a home grown Miller girl moved to Southern California in 1994, spending years nestled in the hillside of Topanga canyon, just off the Malibu coast. Recently relocated to a farm in NW Indiana, she has created a new studio space in an old hen house surrounded by many sources of inspiration.  She will be bringing her art back home in her solo show “In Her Own Style”

This self taught artist has won numerous awards, been featured in a variety of publications, exhibited in hundreds of fine arts festivals, gallery exhibitions and private collections internationally.

“In Her Own Style” is hosted by the Miller Beach Arts & Creative District, and will run weekends at the Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts – 540 S. Lake Street in Gary’s Miller Beach neighborhood at the southernmost tip of Lake Michigan.  It will feature over 50 new works of art created specifically for the NW Indiana community.  Opening reception will be Friday, July 12th from 6-9pm. A cash bar will be available at the reception. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Gallery hours between July 12th and August 4th will be Thursdays 12-6pm, Fridays 12-9pm, Saturdays 6-9pm and Sundays 1-4pm.
