Urschel Laboratories proudly presents and The Kiwanis Club of Valparaiso hosts the Purdue Varsity Glee Club in concert on Sunday, Feb 6th, 2022 at 3pm. This popular concert is a fund-raising activity for the Kiwanis Club of Valparaiso. The proceeds will be used to help children and families in Greater Valparaiso in addition to some state, national, and international Kiwanis projects.
The Purdue Varsity Glee Club has served as ambassadors with honor and dignity for more than 115 years. Founded in 1893, this select ensemble has entertained on behalf of Purdue University for campus, community, state, national and international events, averaging dozens of appearances each year.
Members of this dynamic musical troupe employ a versatile repertoire including gospel, vocal jazz, swing, contemporary hits, romantic ballads, classical choral selections, barbershop, folk melodies, patriotic standards, familiar opera choruses, country and novelty tunes, and utilizes small groups and outstanding soloists to further enhance each show.
Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as this concert normally sells out long before the day of show. Tickets to this concert will make a wonderful gift for someone! Advance tickets are $15/adult; $10 student/special populations; no charge for children 5 and under. If any tickets remain they will be sold at the door for $20per person.
Tickets are available from any Kiwanis Club of Valparaiso member and online at Eventbrite. All sales are final. No unpaid will-call tickets will be held at the door. No refunds will be offered. Concert is located at the Valparaiso High School Auditorium on Campbell Street.
The promoters will follow the directive of the Porter County Health Department regarding masking and COVID precautions.
