portage indiana brewfest changes venue to outside in 2020

Portage Brewfest Takes Place Outside

Portage Brewfest is one of the few remaining Festivals that have not cancelled in 2020 in Portage Indiana. To keep it open, promoters continued to have the venue to be outside at the Portage Lakefront park Open Air Pavilion on Lake Michigan. The following changes have been made to keep the Special Event open in 2020 and takes place on Saturday, September 19th from 4pm – 9pm.
Tables will be spaced with plenty of room to allow for social distancing.
Masks are recommended. Food will be served by our vendors or volunteers who will be taking the appropriate precautions in accordance with the current health department guidelines.
Hand sanitizer will be required when you enter and exit the venue.
Hand sanitizer will also be found in multiple, easily accessible locations.
Drinks will be served by vendors or volunteers who will also be following the current guidelines offered by the health department, including insuring that the bottle or can does not touch the cup you are drinking from.
The maximum number of people allowed to participate may change based on guidance from the State of Indiana.
It is the planners and organizer’s hope is that patrons will come prepared to share some laughs, good food, try some great brews with your friends, but be willing to stay safe and protect those around you. Participants will be notified of any specific procedures needed to follow prior to the event.

In the event our state guidelines do not allow the event to happen on the specified day, we will reschedule.
The Portage Township YMCA and the Greater Portage Chamber of Commerce equally benefit from the event’s proceeds. Tickets are available
