Police And Fire Appreciation Night at Oilmen Baseball Stadium

The Northwest Indiana Oilmen have announced plans to recognize the men and women of the Region’s Police and Fire Departments during Police and Fire Appreciation Night on Tuesday, July 25 as part of a 7:10 p.m. game against the Elkhart County Miracle at Oil City Stadium.

The event is sponsored by bp Whiting as police and fire departments across Northwest Indiana will receive free tickets while supplies last.

“We are thrilled to partner with bp Whiting for a night of giving back to the local heroes who keep our communities safe through their work in police and fire departments throughout the Region,” Oilmen President Don Popravak said.

“We can’t wait to see those hard-working men and women enjoy a night of exciting baseball and family entertainment at Oil City Stadium. Our organization cherishes the opportunity to give back to the community, and we’re thankful to bp Whiting for helping make this night possible,” continued Don.

The oil refinery provides an unmistakable backdrop for the Region’s Team, and the Oilmen have enjoyed a longtime partnership with bp Whiting.

“bp values the work and dedication that police and firefighters must take on each and every day,” said Donnie Brown, Vice President Refining – Whiting Refinery. “Thank you to the Northwest Indiana Oilmen for allowing us the opportunity to partner. From all of us at the Whiting Refinery, we commend you for what you do and appreciate your commitment to safety.”

Tickets are available now on NWIOilmen.com. For more information, email info@nwioilmen.com or call 219-659-1000.
