Planet Palooza 2026 – Marquette Park – Gary

     Join us for a day to celebrate the planet, practice self-care, and learn about the environmental initiatives taking place around the region – Saturday, April 11th beginning at 11am at Marquette Park in Gary.

Planet Palooza 2026: ”One Planet. One People.” will focus on our diverse communities and our different experiences while sharing one planet and one responsibility.     This Earth Day, we commit to environmental solutions that uplift every person in every community, and leave no one behind.

     Complimentary hot dogs & refreshments until gone. Caribbean Roots will be on site serving authentic Caribbean “food from the sol” for purchase.
     This event is FREE and open to all. Beach PARKING is FREE for this event (until 4pm).

     [We will begin the day with a shoreline cleanup at 10am along the shore of Marquette Beach. Sign-in begins at 9:15am at Shelter #2. Morning refreshments provided. Parking is FREE.]
